This traditional method allows the soap to cure slowly, preserving the natural benefits of the ingredients and producing a long-lasting, gentle bar. Because it's not heated, the nourishing oils and butters retain more of their skin-loving properties, and the natural glycerin formed during the process helps keep skin soft and moisturized.
